Elegant 18 on Cake Central

My co-workers niece fell in love with a cake she saw online and asked me to make it for her since it fit her theme perfectly. This is my interpretation of the original adding my own touches. It is vanilla cake as requested , covered in Pettinice fondant and filled with chocolate buttercream and dulce de leche. It took about 40 hours from start to finish. My most labor intensive project to date.

Thank you. I don't like the way this photo looks. changing the pixel size in order for it to be accepted made it a little out of focus.

I love this cake! How did you make the plaque? Sorry about the problem you ended up having with it, but don't let this get to you too much, it will happen to all of us at some point, has me. LOVE YOUR WORK!

what a great design that can be used for so many things ..... "starry night" proms, 50th anniversaries, any birthday, 4th of July, etc etc etc.

Keonicakes: Thank you for ur encouragement. I made the plaque out of fondant and gumpaste. I used R.I. to pip the design and then used gold dust and vodka to make a paint and used a very fine brush.
