My son did this fondant cake in his Wilton Course 3 class. He wanted to use more colors for the fondant shapes, but there was really limited time in which to do the cake, by the time he had finished making his fondant roses. He decided to save those for another cake.

I think he has a really good eye for form and design, and has a great future in cake decorating. (Uh-oh, competition!)
