I know this cake seems simple but I wanted to post it because I was so proud of the flower topper I made =) I chopped a styrofoam ball in half and arranged the roses around it and set it on the cake. The bride went crazy. I have a confession-- I used quilting pins (large with round plastic head) to attach the ribbon. I would never do it on someones cake I didn't know but I've done it in situations where I will be there to pull them out and count them. What does everyone else do to attach ribbon to cake???
