Thanks for all the lovely compliments, I think you're right about the swags too, it just gives brides a more elegant version of the laid back beach themed cakes, Thanks again:)

Ah, now I see. I looked at the other photo first and thought the crab was resting on some type of sugarpaste rock. This is such a great theme.

Wow what a response to the cake, :oops: , the blue is just really silky sheer material picked up from our local fabric store:)

forgot to mention tcturtleshell, when my business part. and I put this together on site, I said that the three shells coming out of the top reminded me of King Triton's crown:)

I am so happy that my little crab groom is getting some attention, he was so fun to make; jesaltuve, I mixed vodka and luster dust and painted the egg gold and then let it dry and went back and painted swirls with ruby red luster dust and vodka.

Well, the bride was so overwhelmed when we showed her the cake right before the wedding that I don't think she heard me say that the groom crab had the egg in hand, so they returned their rentals to us and said it wasn't until mid reception when they realized it and they thought it was fantastic, so yeah:)
