First Paid Wedding Cake
This was my first paid wedding cake. Three tiered, Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla/Chocolate marble with fresh roses and greenery. I hated working with the pillars, and will avoid them if at all possible. It doesn't look quite as bad as I thought at the reception site, but there's room for improvement, definitely! ha!
I'm sure the bride and groom loved the cake, your icing is very smooth and the fresh flowers look very nice! What kind of pillars did you use?
Thank you - very kind of you to say! The pillars are the Roman ones from Wilton. I used the plastic dowels as support, and I would use wooden ones when I do another one.
