Bon Voyage To Alaska!
I got this idea from another CakeCentral member and had to try it for my friend's mom's 60th surprise birthday party. They are surprising her with a cruise for her birthday...hence, the theme for the cake! Hee hee! This is a very heavy cake and took many hours to complete. I used buttercream icing and black ribbon for the border of the ship. I used black fondant for the windows and smoke stacks. I made sure to put dowels in the cake to keep it standing.
