Backyardigans Cake
This cake is for my daughter's 6th birthday. There is an episode of the show where they are in the jungle...that is what she wanted. Well, I am not talented enough to make figures out of fondant yet, so I downloaded them off the internet, "laminated" them with clear contact paper, and made a jungle. She was excited, and the cake tasted great.
the date on my camera is off, it was really 6-30-06. Oops! :o
Really cute and it was a great idea to laminate the pictures from the internet, think I might have to try that one too!
the reason for laminating was because I only have an inkjet printer, and any water would leave marks. Also gave them some added strength. Thanks for the feedback.
