Not sure the number, but it is a large star tip. I like to use it because it looks a little different and you can hide a lot of ugly edges with it - large tip like 1A, not large opening regular sized tip.
Thanks! The dots are just dots of the buttercream - you pipe a dot on the cake, then dip the tip of your finger in water and press the dot down. The trick is to have your finger moist, but not dripping wet. It gives a nice 3D effect since the dot is not flush with the top of the icing. Good luck!
