This is cool...You know, I've been tooying around with the idea of rice paper and fondant, but was wondering what to do to make it stick. Did you just moisten the fondant?

I love it! Of course, I love anything in LSU colors ;) The diploma looks great; I would also like to know how you did it.

Thanks ladies! I printed on the wafer paper through my printer and then glued it to the fondant with a little gum glue, shaped and let it dry over night. I made the ribbons from fondant and let them dry after shaping. I dabbed a little glue on the ends and slipped under the diploma. Is LSU purple and gold? I'm from NY - and dumb when it comes to school colors - this was a high school grad cake.

I live in NY now too, but got my grad degree from LSU. Good times. I still love Louisiana. Thanks for the pointers.
