Superman Super Hero Cake
This cake is a spin off of a bride cake in the 3D section. I used a 6" 8" and 9" pan to make him. In retorspect I would have used a 10" for the bottom I think but I didn't have one at the time. He has a MMF cape and the yellow in the emblem on the cape and on the front are MMF. This was my first try at MMF and it was a real problem for me. It was 90% humidity on the day I was making this cake so that played a big roll in how hard it was to decorate it. For my first time I think it came out great considering
well i had about 25-30 people and I had 3 pieces left. They were good size pieces too.
You did a great job!!! This is the cutest idea!!
Oh my....toooooo cooooool !!!!!!!! Love it!
Thanks ladies, pictures show every imperfection. It really did look pretty good in person. As you can see I don't have the stablest hands when it comes to making a straight line
We are our own worst critics. Your cake is fantastic! How clever! Thanks for sharing!
Again, great cake, cool cape. Did you put cardboard between the layers?
Thanks. No cardboard needed, I just stacked them like an regular cake. It help up great. No sagging
This cake is so great how many people does it feed?
