Thank You very much. :-) The technique is simple, a rectangle cake, carved down the middle, covered with marzipane, dusted with ant. gold lusterdust, Thin pages rolled out in fondant with balled(balling tool) edges.

This is the prettiest book cake I've seen so far I think..it's exquisite!..looks porcelin even. Fully covered in fondant?..just on top? what was your technique?
