Rose Cupcakes
This is the first cupcake wedding I've done. The bride didn't want a traditional cake but she still wanted a topper, so she asked me to make them on their own plaque. The bride & groom models are a dog & a rabbit because the couples pet names are puppy & bunny.
I like your cake stand. Did you custom make these or was it purchased?
Thanks for all the nice comments. The stand was purchased from ebay here in the UK. It is one of the better ones because all the posts screw in so it doesn't wobble. It also has another 2 tiers to it.
Beautiful!! But... HOW did you get such flat cupcakes? and what are they frosted with?
I put plenty of mix in the cups & I just seem to be real lucky most of the time & they come out flat. If they don't I just get a sharp knife & level them. To cover them I roll out fondant and cut out circles with a cutter ,the same size as the cakes, & then just put a very very thin layer of jam on the cake & place the circles on top.
