Jimmy Buffet Margarita Cake
I made a Strawberry Margarita cake with strawberry buttercream icing, but instead of using milk or water in the icing, I used tequila and triple sec. I used a Wonder-mold pan to make it the shape of the top of a glass and put clear cake flakes over entire cake to make it look like it was chilled. I also took sugar sprinkles and put them on the rim of the "glass" to look like the salt & plastic fish fins sticking out of the sides for the Jimmy Buffet song, "Fins to the left, Fins to the right"
love it.... i know just who to make it for... any idea where i could get the lil fins??
I went to the local Party City store and bought a bag of small plastic fish and just cut the tails off.
