The cupcakes are just plain ol' cupcakes (any flavour would do - these happen to be devils food) Once cooled I sliced the rounded tops of to make a flat top. I mixed an excessive amount of coconut into vanilla frosting to get the "rice" texture and iced the top only of the cupcake. Then wrap the cupcakes in strips of green fruil roll ups. The filling is just an assortment of candies and dried fruits pressed into the top.
