Hexagon Wedding Cake

Hexagon Wedding Cake on Cake Central

This cake was set up at ceremony time! It was 90*+ today here and we told the coordinator that we had concerns about this being outside, but she said no problem, ceremony then cake cutting photos by the Bride and Groom. Cake held up pretty great under the circumstances!

That is really beautiful. Though the hex pans are a real challenge, I just LOVE them for some odd reason. This is really beautiful with the all-white, and different textures. Nicely done. Love the fan in the background ;-)

I'm a big fan of all white cakes.......not only do they look more elegant but you don't have to mix any colors....ha!! It's beautiful and it looks like it was going to feed a lot of people!!!

nope, not BC, that would have melted before it was all together! We use a white fudge based icing that has held up so well for us over the years.

For the icing, it actually comes in a bucket (like 30 pounds) and is called White Fudge Based Icing...then we have to add sugar and flavorings and such and whip it up (slowly Ive learned or there are bubble holes!) If I can find the name of it I'll post it!
