Mini Cupcake Bouquet

Mini Cupcake Bouquet on Cake Central

I made these for a Mother's Day tea that my sister did for her church. Thanks to KHalstead for the inspiration. These were a lot of fun...but 4 days later and my hand is still sore from all the roses! HA!

Did you make the roses, the apply them? Or did you just frost them on the cupcakes? They look amazing!

smbegg: I made the roses a couple days in advanced then attached them onto the cupcakes once the cupcakes were placed in the pots.

Rose Cramps is what I call it... I did roses for a Mother's Day cake... I must have made 60 roses... Your's look beautiful... I would have thought they were made of Fondant instead of icing! Great Job! :D

Those look absolutely terrific! I love how the roses look with the leaves. I think next time I'll add the leaves on to mine also. By the way, what size are the pots/foam balls?

Hey those look awesome....probably a stupid question, but is each rose on a mini cupcake? and how big were the pots you used? I'd love to try one of these.

I really have no idea what size the pots are. If I had to guess...I'd say that they are maybe 8 inches across the opening. They each held roughly 40 mini cupcakes, so they were pretty big. And yes there is a rose on each of the mini cupcakes. I don't want to ever do another rose again! HA! Thanks so much for all they positive feedback.

Gorgeous! I am going to attempt this for aparty coming up. How did you make the roses? With what tip? I have been practicing with a 1M....any suggestions would be helpful...thanks!

Beautiful!! These are the nicest ones I've seen. Love the different colors. Great idea to do the roses ahead. Very elegant and realistic. The tulle adds a nice touch, not as distracting as ribbon.
