Corpse Bride Birthday Cake

Corpse Bride Birthday Cake on Cake Central

For my daughter's seventh birthday movie party. Taken from the wedding cake in the movie, but I put Emily only since it was a birthday. I didn't know about shading then; would have looked great on the skulls and bones!

Holy crap that is AWESOME! I've actually wanted to do this cake for Halloween since the movie came out. What are the skulls/bones made out of, and how did you make your own mold?

Thank you. I got a rubber skeleton from our Halloween decorations and used clay to make the skull mold. I dusted it with cornstarch to make the MMF skulls. I would recommend adding shading to the skulls (eyesockets and such) but I don't know how to do that on fondant!

SW, you can use a little colored dusting powder for shading, there are many ,besides the luster dusts!! Great Job, I fell in love with this cake too!
