Girl's Soccer Team Cake

This is for an end of the season soccer party. The bottom cake is yellow pound cake with 2 layers of choc bc and 1 of vanilla bc. Outside is choc bc. The soccer ball is the same cake with strawberry filling and bc icing. The stars, lettering and ladybugs are fondant. Grass is bc. Thanks to Jaxdesserts for the inspiration.

I like the color balance - chocolate BC offsets everything.

Excellent design and work. What are the sticks that you attached the stars to? Also, did you use anything extra to support the soccer ball onto the bottom cake or did the rods/dowel suffice? I'm looking at doing this for a cake this weekend and I really love yours!

Steady2Hands - I just saw your comment. Sorry if it is too late. The stars are attached to floral wire with melted chocolate. The ball is on top of a small cake round with dowel rods for support.
