This is a half sheet cake made for a friend's dad on Father's Day. Due to health problems he had to move from the country to the city so his daughter could take care of him, after losing his wife. He talked constantly about how much he missed growing fresh vegetables in his garden. His daughter asked me if I would make him a cake that looked like a garden and this is what I came up with. I baked the cake at my aunt's house in Kentucky and drove it back to Arkansas in time for Father's Day. He loved it!
