I made this cake for my mother's birthday on Monday. It is my first stacked cake. It turned out a little lop-sided, but it's ok. I was inspired by all the monkey cakes on this site. Thanks everyone!

Cute cake; did you make your monkeys out of fondant ahead of time and then assemble them on the cake? My niece loves monkeys; ADORABLE!!
The monkeys are fondant, made a couple of weeks in advance and then placed on the cake. I assembled them while making them so the whole thing dried at once. Glad you like it!
