Wow Great job! I just tried my first fondant cake last week...it is hard. How did your get your upper rim so crisp? As soon as I put the fondant on mine the top rim rounded off...does that make sense?
um i understand your question,,,,, because i was actually hoping to get the more rounded edges, but i figured out after lots of reading and studying about fondant, that cakes need to be chilled,,, or frozen ? to be able to not mess up the cake while applying fondant, like i said, i learned alot about fondant with this baby,,, and then online i saw cake pans that have a rounded edge,which sounds fun, i have babbled on and on, hope i answered your question, thanks for looking, :D

how did you achieve that marbled look in the fondant??? It's amazing!
i rolled and kneaded, and mixed and rolled, and kneaded :cry: i think my arms and hands still ache, haha
