Thanks guys! The border was just a tip 12 bead border. I had fun making this cake. I just love girly cakes. Before I delivered the cake I put a royal icing dragonfly on it (the customer wanted it). I did take pictures of that as well, although I didn't include it here. I guess because to me dragonflies and roses don't seem to really go together. That is more of a lake kind of thing.
Dolfin, I used a template that I got from www.modellodesigns.com. I put it in my projector and piped it directly on instead of marking it first with a pin on the cake and then outlining with my icing. I had to turn my kopykake projector over on its side to do that, though.
