White Cake W/pearls And Lace Points

French Vanilla Cake with Pineapple/Cream Cheese filling. Buttercream icing topped with white foindant ant corneilli lace. Pearls are fondant coated with pearl dust and lace points are made with royal icing. Bow and rosebuds are fondant. Another practice cake. The first time I have tried the lace points and pearls.

Oneprimalscream, I used the recipe on the CC sight. Same as for crusting cream cheese, Spread the frosting on the cake layer and then a layer of crushed pineapple (well drained) on top of the cream cheese filling. Repeat for each cake layer.

everything about this cake is gorgeous! I love your bow and your lace points and your cornelli. What kind of a cake stand did you use?

Thank you so much for your compliments. Dont' laugh but for the bottom stand I used 3 simple glass containers, and for the top tier I bough 3 silver wedding favor baskets and cut off the handle to make a flat base for the cake to sit on.

Thank you everyone. A little fancy for a birthday cake, but it was for a cousin and it's great to practice on family. You can try new things and not worry to much about the outcome.

Thank you. I appreciate the compliments very much. It's great to hear from other cake decorators who know what goes into decorating a cake. I have only done a few cakes and I try to learn something different each time I do a cake.. Again, Thanks for the comments, any and all advice is welcome.
