Father's Day Cake Front View
My Mother and I made this cake for Father's Day for our church. The bottom cake is two 16" square butter cakes filled with strawberry mousse and a layer of fresh sliced strawberries frosted in buttercream. The cross cake is a chocolate cake frosted in chocolate buttercream.

This is a beautiful cake very clean lines and colors. .How do you get the buttercream to look so smooth?
Thank you, donvi! I smoothed with a hot knife as best as I could, then I just put a Viva papertowel and smoothed it the rest of the way with my hand & fondant smoother.
