I made this for my MIL's birthday. She likes purple and blue so this is what I came up with. It is white chocolate cake with strawberry filling, strawberry IMBC and fondant accents. This was my first time making ribbon roses.
Thank you. The board is just a 10" round covered in matching 12x12 scrapbook paper then covered in clear contact paper. To cut, I remove the ribbon then just slice in between the cookie sticks.

It is so pretty! Love it.
what a beautiful cake!! I have been wanting to make one of these pirouline cakes, and haven't had a chance to yet. I love this one!
Beautiful! Love the colors. How did you make that board?
Truly beautiful. Question...how do you slice? Do you remove the sticks, or do you slice between them and leave them attached to the piece?
