Barbie Bridal Cake on Cake Central

this was one of my many cakes from last week. i started this cake at 6 pm, they were pickin it up at 8 pm... i would of liked to do more detail on the cake, but i was too busy. but i think it worked out ok

yeah as soon as i finished she was at the door to pick it up.. i will say i had a few accidents with this cake... things falling on it in the refrigerator... i know i drove my bf crazy that night was i was crabby.. lol what took the longest was all the fondant draping on the dress.

Very pretty! How did you get the doll down inside the cake w/o the cake cracking? I really want to try this.

this is not a real barbie.. i was pressed for time so i just got a wilton cake doll so its just torso .. however i have used barbies.. and by the way this is not a doll cake pan,, its a 8" and a 6" stacked.. and i formed it... but when i use a real barbie i cover her in plastic wrap and poke her through before i ice it.... the cake will crack a lil but the icing will cover it up :)
