I did put dowel rods in it... but only because I was traveling 45 minutes with it. If we would have been eating it at home, I would have skipped the rods. And I just did icing between each layer.... in too much of a rush to mess with filling on this one!
how did you stack them like that? did you just put one on top of the other or did you use dowel rods and each one is on a cake board, and did you put any filling in between, or just icing, did you ice each cake fully then stack? my husband wants this cake for his birthday. thanks
