Thanks everyone! I used a 6 inch and an 8 inch, torted them both, carved them and stacked them! I also put a cupcake (just the rounded top of the cupcake) right on the top.

I can't take credit for the "creativity", as this was based on a Debbie Brown cake. Her book "50 Easy Party Cakes" is absolutely amazing! Yes, it is fondant (MMF), I just added Wilton's Golden Yellow icing color to the fondant.

This is just adorable, I will like to try it. did you jused 6&8 2"deep 1 of each and after you carved them? ;-D
I used 3 " deep pans, so each layer was 1 and a half inches deep.
