Full Of Roses on Cake Central

I saw this cake on the cover of a Wilton book and thought I'd give it a shot. This was my first attempt at roses.

Thank you! I made the roses with royal icing. 1 lb. powdered sugar, 3 tbsp. meringue powder, 6 tbsp. water.

wow...looks just like the photo! I l've always loved that cake! Isn't that just the best wilton book? Your beadwork (scrollwork) is so beautiful...you must have a very steady hand...or lots of practice....my beads sometimes appear uneven...this is really pretty!!
