This is the first wedding cake I did, and I will never do a red velvet cake again. I had so much trouble getting the red covered. I did manage to make it look ok. Then they sat overnight and when I checked them the next day the red was bleeding thorugh. Then when I took th roses out of the freezer (had to freeze them they were melting) they all melted anyway, so I had to make new ones out of different icing. In the end I was happy. I didn't see the pillar was messed up till I looked at the pics.
