Christening Cake
I made this cake for a friend. 2 days before I decorated the cake I placed a layer of fondant on the book cake pan and curled the edges so they looked more like pages and then let it sit out until I was ready to put it on the cake. Then I painted the "pages" of the book with the icing colors so they would stand out. She absolutely loved this cake.

Wow, that book pan cake looks small- is the bottom a full sheet? Looks GREAT by the way- wish I knew how to use fondant yet :( lol
So I had my mom look at this today (I'm making a Christening cake in 3 weeks for my 2 neices (born a month apart) and my mom thinks I need to duplicate THIS cake(in pink of course :) !!! Care to share more about what you did??
