Not impressed with how this came out! Feel like throwing in the towel! Any comments on how I can improve would be greatly appreciated.
I used GRAMMASUE's beautiful castle cake as inspiration. Thank you GRAMMASUE! (didn't turn out anything like yours!)
Honey this castle is fit for a king, don't you dare throw in the towel. rhondie says"IT ROCKS!"
this looks great I just would have made the cake in proportion with the turrets, Or broader. But it is great.
I think it looks great! ;-D ;-D
I have to agree, it looks great. I even love the turrets being taller. Wonderful job on the pinky disks on the turrets. Excellent job on the stone impression. I don't think there is anything I don't like about this cake. Great job.
You did a GREAT job on this castle. Only the porportions need adjustment. Love the tops too!!!
Honestly. I really like it. I think you did a great job. I love the shineiness to the colors ;-D
It is gorgeous...see NOTHING wrong with it...HONESTLY! >^.,.^
I think your cake is Absolutly wonderful...would have just made the turrets shorter..:)...
Are you kidding? This is really whimsical and cute. The details are great.
I love the tops of the turrets..so creative. Great colors!
I actually had a larger cake made for this and when I tried to put it on the cake board it broke! This was actually the third cake I made for this and realized I should have kept the bigger one. The turrets were already done so I couldn't resize them but a lot learned from this cake! I finally figured out how my impression mat works near the end of the cake LOL! Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments!
I think that you did an awesome job! It looks absolutely beautiful!
Love your castle, would love to know how you did the tops of the towers. Are there ice cream cones under there? Absolutely adorable, love it, love it. Thanks for sharing with us.
Yes red, I used waffle cones and then cut out A LOT of circles from fondant and glued them on the cone with royal icing and then painted with luster dust.
