Stack-O-Books Cake
For our youngest daughter's high school graduation. All buttercream. My first attempt at multiple layers with a cardboard/drinking straws support system. Everything looks a little wiggly and not-perfect --- but I figured that's what her tattered old school books looked like, too!

Thanks everyone, for your encouraging comments. What a wonderful site this is for support! Also -- daughter wanted ONLY a "confetti" cake, so it was totally from box mixes (3 of them, baked in 9 x 13 pans, then cut to book-sizes). Everyone said it tasted like the best homemade cake they'd ever had. Haha!
