This is a french vanilla cake with strawberry filling covered in pink buttercream and pink fondant. I used my new bow cutter to make the fondant striped accents - I love that tool! The M on top is rolled out of fondant. I found I really like working with satin ice.
Thanks for your nice comments! For colors, I used a tiny bit of pink for the light pink and added more for the dark pink. For the green, I used a combination of kelly green, lemon yellow, and a tiny bit of leaf green. It ended up matching the party invitations pretty closely.
