This is a 14 layer (YES 14!!!) Chocolate Cake made the Southern Way. The icing is my Grandmothers passed down Recipe. It is boiled on the stove to softball stage just like homemade candy and fudge. It hardens and makes a nice candy coating over the cake..So imagine, 14 pancake like fluffy vanilla layers "glued" together with fudgy chocolate candy....yeah baby! This was a customer request for a Bday so I decorated it with tiny deep red buttercream roses, chocolate buttercream accents, and leaf sprays.
