I made this cake this past weekend for an open house. It was my first attempt at gumpaste and it was a lot of fun! I got the general idea from a cake on this site but I don't remember who had uploaded it(sorry!!).
Of course!! For the writing I chose the "Curlz MT" font and printed out what I wanted to put on the cake. I then taped parchment over it and did the letters in RI. (Of course I did several sets to allow for breakage.) I can do this font free hand, but I have a hard time keeping it even.
I think it looks great. I had to take a second look at it when you said it looked lopsided, and I still don't see it. I love the writing. Any helpful hints you can throw our way?

I love your flowers! Did you have a pattern/instructions that you went by to make the hibiscus flowers?
I just noticed how lopsided this picture makes the cake look - shoot - maybe it WAS that lopsided.......

no - I just messed around with the gumpaste and the Wilton gumpaste tools until I figured it out.
