Topsy Turvy Wedding Cake on Cake Central

This design was inspired by KarenMichi. The layers are 12, 10, and 8. The top and bottom are yellow cake, with the middle being chocolate cake. All the tiers are frosted with Bavarian Cream flavored buttercream and covered in MMF. The only items on the cake that are not edible are the pearl stamens in the flowers, the topper, and the strings of pearls at the base of each tier. This is our first wedding cake and only the 3rd or 4th fondant cake we've ever done.

Beautiful!!!! The color comes through just fine (I know you were worried about it looking "blue" but it doesn't). You two did a great job!!!

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments! LOL, I know we're our own worst critics. You'd probably never notice, but on the middle of the bottom tier, I had to cut a 5" by 3 1/2" rectangle of fondant out and replace it because of a tear. I glued it in place with shell colored Royal Icing.
