Kindergarten Graduation

Kindergarten Graduation on Cake Central

I made this for my son's K-grad... the caps are made out of candy and will be boxed individually for the kids to take home.

This is SUPER cute! One of the best graduation cakes I've seen. What a lot of work. Excellent job!

did you have molds for the cap's> Also how did you make the bears cap? This is so adorable and I am thinking about doing something similar for my daughter this year. Any advice? You seem to have perfected it!!!!

The caps are using the mini ball pans and I hollowed them out...and then cut the sides out for the one on the bear. The boards were harder, you have to put the melted candy in a pan and then cut it when it sets at room temp into squares. The tassels are fondant from a clay gun and then dates are melted and dusted candy I wrote with a tip, as well as the names. The caps fit perfectly into the 5" boxes Wilton sells. Have fun!
