Pink Castle
This is my first castle cake, I was really impressed with how easy it was to construct, even how tough and sturdy this was it survived an hour long car ride without anything toppleling over. this is an 10" square, 4" round and the towers are made up o 2" rounds. If you see a little bit of your design in here thankyou for giving me the idea and inspiration to do one of these.
okay how in the world did you do the turrets? not the tiny ones out front but the ones in the back - those look bigger than 2 in. how many did it feed? it's an awesome looking cake!
Great cake! How did you make the block pattern on the walls and tower? Is it imprinted or just painted? And the wood grain on the door is fantastic. How was this done?
very nice, is it mmf?
thankyou the stone pattern is a combination of an impression mat and free hand, then painted in some of the grooves to make it stand out, the door was created using a tool to put grooves into the fondant then painted brown to get a wood effect, hope this helps
i am new into cake work pls kindly explain in details how this was done and the size of the tins u used
I really like the dimensional look of the various colors on the top of the turrets! A nice touch!
