Rainbow And Butterfly
I'm sure you have all seen a version of this cake, it is in the 2004 Wilton book and on a few websites that I love. I'm starting to get in a groove and it didn't take me as long to finish as others have.

I like this cake. I am making one for my younger daughter's bday in July. And my older daughter's name is ALANIA. Is that cool or what? Not spelled the same, but pretty close!

The butterflies and flowers are fondant, the rainbow is royal icing. Used the viva paper towel trick for smoothing. Sadly the party was cancelled, child got the flu, I wrapped it up and put it in the freezer, so I hope it still looks and tastes good in two weeks.
