Thank you for your post!! I pipe the color with a large round tip like puzzles pieces. I smoothed each section as I went along being careful not to press too hard where the pieces met up. Once I was done, I let the icing crust a bit, then smoothed the cake with a Viva paper towel making sure not to press too hard so the parts wouldn't bleed together. It was a lot of fun!!
