I modeled the stem out of Tootsie Rolls, but I wouldn't recommend that. It started to suck moisture out of the icing and melt. I would think ahead, tint some fondant, and model it around a bamboo skewer- you can use the bundt pan as a guide. Let it dry a day or two, and then put it on the cake.
