Roses For Mom
basket weave w/ ruffle border. Sparkles and pearls on the roses. Wrapped fondant handle w/ gold ribbon to match charger. Cake is lemon with vanilla & lemon filling. Yummy? The mom's loved it as it was for all the moms in my family.

So is the handle just a handle wrapped in fondant or actually made from fondant. I ask because I'm making the Wilton 2 final with the basket and I'm trying to make one from fondant. So far just fondant and I'm letting it dry for 2 weeks... :) I hope it works,.. what did you do exactly? Thanks! PS - I love the ruffle at the bottom of the basket!
for this one I used the handle from an ice cream tub, wrapped w/ fondant, when dry, wrapped in ribbon. If you look in my photos, you will find 2 more baskets. Both of them were just card board wrapped in ribbon. I attached skewers to each end to stick down into the cake. Very simple but neat effect. Good luck and have fun.
