Thanks everybody! You can copy all you want, LisaMs; this cake was also inspired by so many lovely cakes here on CC. I agree it is a challenge to dress up a sheet cake and the customer really wanted a sheet cake ( after suggesting different options!). I got the cutters from Wilton 101 cookie cutters.

Besides the design looking just awesome....my favorite thing about this cake are the colors you chose! Excellent job! I'll have to give this one a try too...would be kinda neat to come up with two different color combos (one for girls, one for boys) and use that as a "standard" happy birthday sheet cake! Great idea!

What tip was used to write happy birthday...at first, I thought it was the oval 301 but looking closer, is it just a round, like a 2 or 3?

This is a really neat design! I can't believe how straight your edges look on this. It matches perfectly to have the border on the inside of it! And your ribbon roses and bow are so beautiful! Plus I LOVE the colors! Gret cake!
