Bridal Consult Sample Cake Fondant
This is a closeup of the fondant cake. The ribbon and bow are also fondant dusted with luster dust. After tasting this cake, the groom announced that he wouldn't pay for something that tasted like that. (I was using Wilton packaged fondant. I haven't experimented with MMF yet) That was fine with me...I'm anti-fondant myself. (Again - I haven't tried MMF yet....)
Well no matter what the groom said, your cake *looks* absolutely beautiful. You can't be held responsible for Wilton's crummy fondant! Try the MMF.
I wasn't impressed with Wilton's fondant either and haven't tried MMF yet but am looking forward to trying for a baby shower cake I'm doing this week. Anyway...you're cake looks wonderful so don't give up on fondant yet!!!

Me to...I use it only for making decorations. I do LOVE Satin Ice brand though. It is sweet, tastes great and easier to work with than MMF.
