When I need a really dark brown or "black" icing, I use a dark Dutch cocoa sprinkled into the royal icing as it mixes. Let it sit overnight for an even darker shade! Go to www.kitchengifts.com for the pump cutter, but I cut each of the pants out by hand. She does sell the pants cookie cutter on her site now though!
