Deer Cake
This was for my dads birthday. First time trying this cake, didnt turn out like I wanted but I learned what not to do next time. Ears are rice crispie treats and the antlers are gumpaste.

Ha, ha - I just love this deer! What did you paint the head with - it looks great!
This cake is sooooo cute. What pan(s) did you use for it???? Saving in my favs.
Thank you!! I painted it with wilton food coloring rubbed it on with a paper towel.For the pans I used a sheet pan and a 8 inch round for the head.
I have had someone asking me to make a deer, Yours looks great! what you do differently??
Next time I would not make the face so round my son said it looked like a bear. Also try to make the eyes more realistic.
I don't think it looks like a bear and I will use this one myself...you did a great job.
