This is the first theme cake I made. It was for my aunts suprise 50th birthday party. It's made with all buttercream icing on the cake. The toilet lid was a cake board covered in color flow, then buttercream decorations. The "gifts" in the bowl are tootsie rolls. The cake was a huge hit and I had fun making it.

I did hear the words "gross" and "disgusting" quite a lot that night. The kids loved it though. Thanks for for the comment ChrisJ. (chaptlps also!)

OMG! I have to make this for my husband, who not only turns 50 this summer, he also works in the wastewater industry! hahahaha

Good luck - and how very appropriate! The bowl is made from the Betty Crocker dome pan, the rest is made from loaf pans. Hope that helps.

OMG! how funny is this cake. I would love to make this cake. I'll pm you for directions. Thanks in advance. Terrific job!

This is awsome!! I would like to try this for my friend's 30th birthday. How did you get the bowl to stay above the small square and the tank cake as well? Was it difficult to transport? Thanks, I appreciate any help.

Im glad you like it. Im sure yours will be a big hit! I tried to post my instructions here, but they are too long to fit. If you give me your e-mail, I'd be happy to send them to you. But, to quickly answer your questions, it stays together by a lot of icing and quite a few dowl rods. Transportation was not bad, you just need to make sure that you have a heavy enough base board. I actually used a wooden board to transport it. Please fee free to PM me if you would like more info...

This is great! I did the kitty litter cake a couple years ago for halloween, last year, I did a roadkill cake and I am not sure if I want to do this one for halloween or for my dad's bday, but I do want the directions. My email is [email protected] . Thanks so much. It's awesome!

Me and my girls are in love with this cake! I cannot believe how realistic it looks. I too would love it if you could send me the directions if at all possible. I have an upcoming birthday for my husband and this is so appropriate for him. My email is [email protected]. Thanks!

I do have some basic instructions for this cake. To request them, please PM me with you e-mail address - sometimes sending a request through the comments gets lost in the shuffle.

Let me try this again. I get a lot of instruction requests for this cake, about once or twice a week, through this comment section, my other toilet cake posted on cc, PM's and through e-mail. I want to help all that ask - but it's hard to keep track of who's gotten what and it takes lots of time sorting it all out. The best way to get a timely response from me is to PM me with your request and your e-mail address. I still love to read comments about this cake, so thanks for leaving them. Blessings!

I just wanted to say thank you. This cake was just awesome! You did a great job! My husbands cousin saw this and wanted it for her mom's 50th and asked me if I could do it. I said I didn't know. I tried it and it turned out great!
