Friends Birthday Cake
This was supposed to be my "Mary Engelbreit" cake. The yellow diamonds were supposed to be black, but my fondant wouldn't color black, came out Hunter Green....hmmmm. So I opted for yellow. Vanilla cake with Raspberry perseves as filling. Iced in BC and Fondant decorations. Ribbon roses, daisies, and petals all fondant.

I'm a huge Mary Engelbreit fan, and this is lovely! I can see why you might have preferred to go with black (more traditional Mary), but I think the yellow works very well! I'm sure your friend loved it! Your ribbon roses are the most gorgeous colour - what colouring did you use?
