This is kind of bad I know but I wanted to give painting a try. Fondant is a pretty good medium and it was a lot of fun so I'm going to keep practicing.

dsoutherngirl I think you did an awesome job painting!!! I love this!! How long did you let your fondant sit before painting on it and what did you use for your color? I think you've got the knack for this! I love the plaid bkgrd too!!!! Great work!!
I think it looks great. I like how you did different shades of each color.
Thank you! I let it set about 30 minutes and I used powdered colors mixed with vanilla.

It's Crystal Colors brand. I believe I got them from Sugarcraft.com.
